Hi Everyone! Welcome to my webpage… I joined Applied Mechanics Department, VNIT Nagpur in July, 2016. My research focus is primarily in the area of "Blast Resistant Design of Structures and their Mitigation Using Advanced Lightweight and Engineered Materials". This research is focused on application of advanced lightweight and engineered materials for blast resistant design of structures and components. As you can understand that this research requires knowledge of materials as well as various FE packages due to the complexity involved in such analysis and design. Design of structures, under such extreme loadings, is an Interdisciplinary effort wherein experts from different fields works in synchronization. It needs understanding of analytical models, numerical analysis, and finally the experimental evaluation to arrive at viable solutions. Areas of Current Research Interest:
